Dr. Karanvir Aulakh is Riverpark Pet Hospital's visiting board-certified veterinary surgeon in Fresno. He is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (DACVS-SA) and a Canine Rehabilitation Certified Practitioner (CCRP), with dual Master's degrees and more than a decade of specialty surgical experience.
Dr. Aulakh served as Tenured Associate Professor and Chief of Small Animal Surgery at Louisiana State University (LSU), where he directed the ACVS-approved residency program and mentored more than 100 interns and residents. He received multiple Dean's Teacher Merit Honor Awards during his tenure.
With over 28 research grants, 26 peer-reviewed articles, and 30+ scientific abstracts, Dr. Aulakh has made significant contributions to the field of veterinary surgery — including leadership on clinical trials that contributed to FDA recognition of innovative treatments for canine conditions.
